Feeling confused by why your child is struggling with reading or not sure how to set them up for success? Feeling overwhelmed by the complexities of the school system or the lack of supports? If your requests for meetings are going unanswered or you’re confused by the IEP or 504 processes, our Day of Discovery is here to provide quick, actionable support. This one-day intensive is your opportunity to share your concerns, questions, and observations and receive real-time guidance. Throughout the day, Alyssa will be available via Voxer to provide personalized advice on advocating for your child and navigating the school system. Whether you're preparing for a school meeting or seeking clarity on accommodations, you’ll leave with a clear plan to move forward confidently. Topics We Can Cover: Why your child is struggling with reading/writing, recommended activities and interventions, IEP/504 guidance, school meeting/ SST preparation, understanding accommodations, assistive technology options, and more. Format: Full-day access via Voxer, so you can get quick answers and support throughout the day. By the end of the day, you’ll have the clarity you need to proactively advocate for your child instead of feeling overwhelmed or stuck. (This doesn’t include any legal advice, this is simply advice for you to structure your own advocacy).
